The Australian Golf Club
MLD Planning assisted The Australian Golf Club in securing approval for its Development Application (DA) in May 2026 for substantial alterations to its historic Clubhouse in Kensington.
Founded in 1882, The Australian Golf Club is the oldest golf club in the Commonwealth. The approved DA works form part of a broader refurbishment of its Clubhouse, enhancing facilities and amenities for Members and their guests while respecting the Club's rich history.
Gaffa Creative Precinct
MLD Planning assisted the Gaffa Creative Precinct in obtaining Development Application (DA) approval in October 2026 at Clarence Street, Sydney.
The Gaffa Creative Precinct is housed within a State heritage-listed, former Victorian Police Station designed by Architect James Barnet and which was constructed circa 1891.
The DA approval unlocks greater activation and utilisation of the building, through the introduction of a ground floor/rooftop cafe, as well as boutique shops that sell creative goods. Late night trade has also been approved, including within the rooftop, to support the night time economy and the vibrancy of Clarence Street.
